Most of the things you use in your life are used without a thought about the person who made them. When you make a toy for a child, you will be in their mind each time they play with that toy. Playtime for that child is infused with love and warmth.

It doesn't matter how adept you are at making toys - your love will shine through no matter how spontaneous the outcome seems to be. We encourage you to make as many toys as you can for all of the children you love. These toys will always be the most special ones they have.

Let your child watch you make toys, or even help! By watching you make toys with your own hands, your child will learn self-reliance; they'll learn that they can fill their needs themselves. They will probably ask you to make other toys for them, and then develop an interest in making their own toys. You will teach your child through example that creativity has no bounds!
